MAYA Organization is a maternal and child health nonprofit located in Pittsburgh, PA. MAYA stands for Me And You Always. Our mission is to foster responsible parenting, healthy children, and stable home life through pro bono education, counseling, and adoption services. We provide no-cost trauma-informed counseling to women in the Allegheny County Jail, as well as professional mental health counseling and parenting education classes to pregnant women and their partners in Allegheny County. Our focus is on reducing recidivism, strengthening and reuniting families, and preventing and treating postpartum depression. MAYA Organization also offers numerous adoption services. A licensed adoption agency, we also facilitate transitional infant foster care and conduct home studies.
