We’re a romantic relationship coaching team . We founded the Epic Love Institute to help couples and singles over 40 find their way back to being madly in love again. • What makes us different as relationship coaches is 1. First, we are a couple coaching other couples and singles. You just don’t see this approach because insurance won’t reimburse for it and it is difficult to do and make it work. But having both the male and female perspectives in our coaching sessions has made a huge difference to the couples we coach. 2. We utilize the evidence-based Internal Family Systems (IFS) healing method along with other modalities in a structured approach to our coaching. IFS is both a way to understand your own internal family of parts as well as a communication framework to build intimacy in your romantic relationship. 3. The third difference is that we are coaches, not therapists. We’re not restricted by rules imposed by insurance. We have no artificial time limit of 50 minutes and time’s up – we go until we arrive at a natural stopping point. This is around 2 hours, but has gone even longer. Also, we relate to clients as equals, with open, loving and compassionate hearts. We share stories about our own journey when it’s helpful … our own difficult moments, and thereby relate to and connect with our clients on a personal level as another couple on a similar journey.
