Welcome to the VCBC. We are here to support those within the Veteran Community pursue their entrepreneurial dreams through small business. We are focused on supporting existing veteran community-owned businesses as well as creating a pathway to self-employment for those still in the military, and their partners. The term ‘Veteran Community’ is intentionally broad and seeks to include all those who have served or are still serving in the military, and their partners. Four pillars of support will guide our service delivery. - Community. Create an environment so every member of the community can grow in confidence by sharing their experiences, learning and supporting each other. - Education. Bridging the gap between military skills an business acumen through and education program which leverages internal experience and existing providers. - Identification. A formal process of branding as a ‘veteran community owned business’ to allow the choice to ‘shop veteran’. - Digital transformation. Every business within the community has a digital footprint which enhances the brand, lead generation and the sales process. We will create a complete entrepreneurial ecosystem to enhance existing businesses, startups and implement an accelerator and funding model. Join us on the journey!
