Medha Charitable Trust
www.medhatrust.orgMedha Charitable Trust was founded in 2006 to help economically poor students with quality education. We believe that if we educate one person, their family and the future generations of their family will have the desire and ability to become educated. To support our mission and programmes, over 500 associates of Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd. volunteer each year while we receive financial support from Medha Servo Drives Pvt. Ltd., the largest electronics manufacturer in India. All our programmes are targeted to tackle the biggest problems we are facing with empowerment in India: lack of study material for students in government colleges, lack of good quality education and lack of skilled workforce. We work in 3 areas: - Medha Helping Hands: Between 2007 and 2016 we’ve supported 22 lakh students in Government Junior Colleges of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh states by giving them text books and study material. - Medha Sampurna Siksha: Since 2012 we’ve sponsored complete education to over 360 students who are meritorious but economically poor. Every year we continue to sponsor 100 more merit students. - Medha Naipunya Nirmana: Since 2017 we’ve sponsored over 50 students for long term technical training programmes and over 200 candidates through short term certificate courses and placed them in related manufacturing industries. Every year we continue to sponsor more students for various skill development programmes. We believe in building a strong foundation with the students in addition to providing them with best career opportunities. Our journey with each student we support goes beyond all limits. We believe this is the only way to make a difference in a person’s life. We understand the humble environment each student comes from and we provide them with extra care, guidance and support. With our belief that no young talent should go waste, we have been serving the community with utmost care since 2007 and hope to continue our humble efforts in the years to come.
