The Marist College Student Government Association (SGA) serves as a liaison between the student body and the administration. We are dedicated to effectively addressing student concerns and promoting a diverse and inclusive environment for all. At Marist College, a student leader is more than just a title. Students from diverse backgrounds and interests string to bring change and innovate to the campus community. The Marist College Student Government Association (SGA) is the group for advocating on behalf of the student body in decisions that transcend the jurisdiction of the students and have taken on extreme significance, or which involve serious issues with college faculty, staff, or administration. SGA is also responsible for giving guidance to other student groups, clubs, and organizations. It further maintains the authority to charter campus clubs and organizations. What does PAC do? As the Public Affairs Committee, it is our responsibility to use campus social media accounts to inform students about current and upcoming SGA meetings, projects, and programming. This includes managing all published content of all outlets, including press releases, emails, the SGA website, and social media posts. We act as a liaison for all communication efforts between the SGA and the Marist College community.
