During the time, Poggesi company stood out in the sector of sun shading systems for its production of high quality and architectural designed parasols. Poggesi was able to understand the insights of a continuously changing environment and for this reason, it invented a game-changing breakthrough umbrella able to solve the problems of room and obstruction which a central pole umbrella could not guarantee. The ongoing ambition to differentiate itself from its competitors led Poggesi, after years of research and development, to the introduction of a cantilever umbrella with an innovative patented technology which made it unique in its kind. Research and development did not stopped and Poggesi was able to respond not only to final consumers’ needs but also to those of trade channel. To the latter, Poggesi solved a huge logistic problem, that was the possibility not to remove the furniture under the umbrella when closing the parasol. To the technical specifications, the telescopic closing feature was added. Poggesi’s eyes did not stopped to national boundaries and from the mid of ’90 began the international expansion: Poggesi USA, Poggesi UK and Poggesi France started their activity.
