The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business and professionals in our region. Involved for over 144 years in every phase of community growth, the Chamber works to encourage an economic climate favourable to business and industry. We provide Member firms with valuable direct services for day-to-day operations, as well as represent the business, professional and industrial community in its relations with the public sector. The Chamber has represented business on vital issues such as: cross border shopping, labour legislation, federal and provincial deficits, and employment and pay equity, just to name a few. To help keep the lines of communication open and ensure that all levels of government are aware of issues affecting the business community, the Chamber's Board and Executive routinely hold meetings with local MPs and MPPs. The Chamber relies on the efforts of our membership, including hundreds of committee members, a strong Board of Directors and a truly dedicated staff. As a not-for-profit organization, the Chamber operates on the investment paid annually by our Members.
