Saturna is the name of a small island off the coast of British Columbia. When I was living overseas I thought of an idealized place near my home town of Vancouver BC that was an amalgam of my feelings of growing up surrounded by nature. The product is environmentally and socially responsible first and foremost. The product is made locally and with local materials where possible. We are also a design consultancy working with companies with an environmental sustainability and/ or social responsibility focus. Trips to Saturna focus our efforts to create with a purpose, to find ways to contribute to our communities and to create products that do less harm to our environment.
