Spanish Infusión School (formerly Marin Preparatory School) uses Spanish and English to prepare students for their lives ahead: as scholars, as citizens, and as leaders. Our academics balance traditional and progressive approaches offering academic excellence and cross-cultural learning within the framework of the only Spanish Infusion language program in the Bay Area. Through a curriculum that pairs experiential learning with 21st Century skills (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity), children delve deeply into subjects, make connections to the real world, and broaden their perspectives. Our Spanish Infusion model surrounds students with Spanish language and culture, while they work in English ensuring Spanish proficiency, global awareness, and appreciation for Spanish-speaking cultures. We practice Mindfulness and incorporate Responsive Classroom in our daily lives at school, and center our program on the knowledge that a strong social-emotional component serves children well throughout their elementary school years and beyond.
