The UK needs to build; there is a shortage of skilled workers and the workforce we have lacks diversity. The Building People solution is a free-to-use web platform that aggregates and integrates with industry-wide activity, networks and initiatives to enable people to find employers, opportunities and resources, and employers to engage with a more diverse range of talent. Building People is creating connections across the Built Environment, bringing people, knowledge and opportunities together to address the industry challenges of skills, diversity and social value. There is no duplication of effort as Building People is founded on collaboration, with a mission to amplify the voices of others, focusing solely on aggregating and driving traffic to what already exists. Building People is a Community Interest Company, with over 70 industry supporters and three founding partners: The Chartered Surveyors’ Company, CSTT (Chartered Surveyors Training Trust) and University College of Estate Management (UCEM).
