The Student Council, with support from the NYU School of Professional Studies Office of Student Life, works to enhance student life at the School of Professional Studies. Members of the Student Council act as advocates for students, bringing their ideas and concerns to faculty members and administrative leadership, serving as an information resource, and providing opportunities to interact with peers from across the School of Professional Studies and NYU. In addition, the Student Council oversees club activities and their funding. The Student Council hosts social events and industry specific—as well as cross-disciplinary—community engagement opportunities, such as: the Student Club Fest, the annual Winter Holiday party and Spring Gala, and school's team at the All-University Games.
