The Cognitive Science Student Association, or CSSA, is an undergraduate organization at UC Merced focused on supporting and providing a safe space for members interested in the interdisciplinary Cognitive Science major. In addition to having weekly general meetings where Cognitive Science topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Neuroscience are discussed, we host career panels with individuals from different fields, attend the annual California Cognitive Science Conference at UC Berkeley, and directly play a role in placing individuals into highly accomplished labs on campus.
