I am a pastel painter and instructor and love every minute of it! Painting in my home studio, "en plein air" (painting outside), or while teaching, not only brings immense joy, it sparks continued learning and excitement. There is no end to the inspiration. Continued growth in my career path includes networking with other artists, galleries and instructors in order to connect with as many students and collectors as possible. And, changing along with the times, albeit ever reluctantly, incorporating Zoom to my class offerings has become a new avenue where I can share a peak into my home studio and still offer personalized teaching.
