Originally from Europe (where he worked in various hotels), Peter followed his dream to America. Here, he learned all aspects of the hospitality industry while employed at many fine hotels and restaurants. In 1985 Peter settled in New York City where he earned a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from New York's Technical College in Brooklyn, while continuing to work full time in the restaurant industry. In 1994 Peter started Sudek USA - offering high quality custom monogrammed coasters, and eventually, due to his customer's requests, a full line of promotional items.
