Metalica S.A. Oradea is a Romanian company with a seven-decade tradition, which occupies the first place in Romania in the top of small and medium private companies in the field of household equipment manufacturing being the biggest and the oldest Romanian producer of cooking machines having domestic capital: “We have been cooking together since 1949!” Established in 1949 under the name “Minszki Lajos Handicraft Cooperative”, it became the “Metalica State Enterprise” in 1963, then Metalica S.A., after its transformation into a joint stock company in 1991 and the full privatization of the period 1997-2000. Currently, in terms of “own manufacturing” activity, Metalica S.A. manufactures and markets built-in hobs, freestanding gas cookers, gas hot plates, solid fuel stoves, utility sinks / washbasins and other “house and garden” products.
