ridge&clark is a group of six media-making artists and friends. We create exhibitions of centifilms - video works less than one minute in length. For each exhibition, we invite an artist in residence to propose an exhibition title and an original centifilm to act as a centerpiece. The six ridge&clark artists and two rotating contributing artists then fill in the exhibition with original centifilms - in response to, inspired by, or in contradiction with the artist in residence's centerpiece and exhibition title. ridge&clark aspires to engage in a liberating media-making process. We believe in the power of limitation to encourage imaginative artistry.
