YEPP EUROPE recognises young people as actors of social change and strives to make their voices heard. We coordinate, develop and support the YEPP Community Network of YEPP Local Sites and project partners across 14 countries and over 100 communities in Europe. We work for youth and community empowerment in disadvantaged areas, promote participation of young people and local stakeholders in decision-making processes, and foster active citizenship. We develop capacity-building programmes for youth and train youth workers who support young people to develop their skills and strengthen their communities. We also work with municipalities on designing more youth-supportive policies and facilitate transnational learning and exchange of local actors in the YEPP Community Network.
