COSNAV Costruzioni Navali S.r.l. was founded in Genoa, Italy, in 1990. From 1990 to today, COSNAV has experienced continuous growth, expanding its skills and strengthening its expertise, to offer itself as the ideal partner for all shipyards and technical design firms, who make the combination of quality and technology their strong suit. In 1996, with development in full swing and in need of a larger space, COSNAV moved to its current headquarters in Genoa, in the industrial area of the Polcevera Valley, setting itself up in a new, modern building encompassing over 1500 m2 of workshop and office space. In 1998, COSNAV obtained its first ISO 9001 quality certification issued by the prestigious shipbuilding classification society Det Norske Veritas, which has continued to renew the certification in accordance with all changes made since. Det Norske Veritas remains our classification society to this day. COSNAV is equipped with its own technical office and special software for designing and modelling in 3D. The cornerstones of the company are and have always been its continuous growth, its research into new solutions for better adapting itself to its clients’ requests throughout each projects’ execution, and the continuous retraining of its personnel to provide skilled post-sales assistance.
