For youth who lack meaningful and focused academic, recreational and cultural opportunities, and who must face the reality of poverty, crime, drugs, and negative peer pressure, the McGivney Community Center offers a safe haven for positive personal, educational, and social growth and fulfillment. We believe that every child has the ability to achieve and provide the services and programs that make it possible for each child who enters our doors to grow to their fullest potential. Beyond our role as an educational and social resource, the Center is a binding force in the community. We combine a range of goal-oriented programs within a safe and structured setting, and both children and parents readily seek our services and become an active part of our community. In offering hope and a positive vision of the future, we are a mainstay of the neighborhoods we serve.
