We utilise 3D scanning laser vibrometry, Acoustic Emission (AE), ultrasonics, video strain measurement and an acoustic camera to detect damage in structures and materials. As a laboratory we develop and characterise advanced materials using a large scale autoclave, resin infusion, thermal analysis equipment (DMA, DSC), mechanical characterisation facilities in line with international standards.
