Accenture Leadership Center
www.wisc.eduThe Accenture Leadership Center (ALC) offers students unique, hands-on opportunities to develop leadership skills during their undergraduate careers. As one of only a few in-house business school leadership centers, the ALC enables students to complement their academic curriculum with a variety of curricular, co-curricular and student-led experiences. The Center is premised on the idea that leadership can be taught and seeks to provide students with a safe environment to develop and hone their leadership skills. Through the Center, students gain experience and knowledge to help them excel in classes, extracurricular activities and their future careers. The ALC opened in September 2006 with the help of generous funding by active and retired senior executives at Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing firm. These founders remain involved in the ALC by developing curriculum and dedicating time to serve as role models and instructors in the program.
