Launched in 2010, the Brisbane French Festival – now called Le Festival – is a not-for-profit association run by a passionate team of 25+ volunteers all year round and 300+ volunteers all over the week-end. Le Festival first came to light in 2010 as a way of sharing the Brisbane Francophile community’s passion for France with Australia. Today the festival has become the largest French Festival in Australia with more than 40 000 registered visitors and a unique «rendez-vous» for Brisbanites and others to immerse themselves in an genuine French cultural experience…So don’t miss out on our 2021 edition. Le Festival is Brisbane’s Francophile community showcasing and sharing the best of France with Australia. The French community, enriched by Australia’s multiculturalism, seeks to facilitate an interaction between our cultures.
