Solinas is a deep-tech IITM start-up where we develop robotic solutions for the pipeline and sanitation industry, solving problems of water leakages and eliminating manual scavenging. Solinas products are being designed for Indian challenges with products like short-range & long-range pipeline inspection and robotic cleaning of Septic Tanks. We have received numerous awards, including the one by honorable prime minister Narendra Modi as well as from the honorable chief minister of TN, Thiru. MK Stalin. Our first product ENDOBOT is a next-generation tech for internal condition assessment and defect detection in pipelines identifying & analyzing leaks, corrosion, sediments, and dents in critical pipeline infrastructure, using NDT techniques. The products characterize and pinpoint the location of defects in pipelines as well as help municipalities take preventive maintenance actions, thus increasing the efficiency of assets. We have already worked with various clients so far including WATCO, Suez, Voyants & Ulhas Nagar corporation so far.  Our second product, called HOMOSEP, is a robot for automatically cleaning septic tanks, thereby replacing manual scavenging, a much-needed solution. This is the first-ever septic tank cleaning robot in India, that has come out of 3 years of research at IITM with an ability to client households as well as industrial septic tanks.
