Riverside Inverclyde (ri) is an Urban Regeneration Company in Inverclyde on the West Coast of Scotland, 25 minutes from Glasgow City Centre and 15 miles from Glasgow Airport. ri was originally set up in 2007 as a joint initiative between Inverclyde Council, Scottish Enterprise and the private sector, with support from the Scottish Government. ri is advancing a series of exciting regeneration projects, predominantly on a 4.5 mile stretch of waterfront at Greenock and Port Glasgow – towns synonymous with a strong shipbuilding, engineering, manufacturing and IT reputation – and in the town centres of Gourock, Greenock and Port Glasgow. Inverclyde, one of Scotland’s 32 unitary authorities, also includes Inverkip, Wemyss Bay and Kilmacolm.
