Since its foundation in 1994, the Aalener Industriemesse - AIM for students (Aalen Industrial Fair) has stood for the predicate "by students for students". It is primarily aimed at the students and professors of Aalen University but also attracts many visitors from the surrounding regions to Aalen. A high level of service for the exhibiting companies was from the very beginning the focus of the students' activities in organizing the fair, which has since grown to over 160 exhibitors. In recent years, the focus has increasingly been on continuous development to enhance the overall package of AIM from year to year and to further increase the success for the companies and the students. Besides, the Aalen Industrial Fair offers students the opportunity to develop important skills for professional life, such as teamwork, a sense of responsibility and initiative, through their involvement in the organization.
