As an entity of Cara, Cara Plus shifts perspectives of leaders around the country to activate sustainable, holistic workforce solutions that help individuals experiencing poverty get back to work. Through Cara Plus we’re developing a national network of organizations through our affiliates, Cara Institute, and online content. By sharing our best practices and our best failures, we hope to amplify our collective reach and impact around the country. Since our launch, Cara Plus has worked with socially minded organizations including Lutheran Social Services of Indiana, Atlanta Mission, Thistle Farms, Rush University Hospital, The WorkFaith Connection, and others to adopt and adapt Cara’s trainings and methodology.
