Balik is a boutique smoked salmon manufactory, as it produces the best smoked salmon in the world in the alps of the Toggenburg region in Switzerland. The process follows an ancient Russian recipe inherited from the grandson of the last smoked salmon purveyor to the Tsar Nicolas II of Russia. All production steps - watering, salting, smoking and cutting - are carried out by hand. Once you've tried Balik, you cannot go back to an ordinary smoked salmon! Balik products are available directly at the farm located in the village of Ebersol (1 hour by car from Zürich Airport), phone +41 71 375 60 60, or on the webshop www.balik.ch. Balik products can also be found in the Caviar House & Prunier retail and Seafood bar network, located in different cities and airports such as Geneva, Zurich, London Heathrow, Dubai, Hong Kong, Copenhagen, JFK New York. The Balik Farm is also a unique place where culinary and artistic passion meet. In addition to the smoked salmon manufacture the Balik Farm boasts a high-tech recording studio. Many well-known Swiss singers and international stars have recorded their CDs here.
