University Consortium of Pori (UCPori) is a centre of 1400 students, 150 experts and two universities operating networked in a multi-science environment. The University Consortium is a centre providing an umbrella organisation for the universities co-operating in the same area. The mother university of UCPori is Tampere University. Other university with branch departments is University of Turku. UCPori offers education in economics, culture, industrial management, technology and social sciences. The objectives of UCPori are to increase the level of education, to enhance know-how and to support the region’s development and internationalization. In education the focus of UCPori is on undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, multidisciplinary cross-studying and adult education.
