Established in 2013, Berkeley Lab Foundation serves as the bridge between Berkeley Lab and donors who wish to support its multi-disciplinary research. By supporting projects in the early stages of development, donors enable Berkeley Lab to amplify promising new research that can lead to the transformative discoveries for which Berkeley Lab is known. Berkeley Lab Foundation staff works closely with each donor to understand their interests, ensure their gifts are used appropriately, and that their generosity is recognized. The Berkeley Lab Foundation is a 501c3 and an official support group of The University of California.
