The story of Karpets by RKS (Rupesh Kumar and Sons) spreads beyond three generations of the family when our ancestors started the business of manufacturing rugs in a small town of Uttar Pradesh, India. Since then we have never looked back and went on to become the leaders in the industry. Our beautiful rugs have decorated and brought warmth and luxury to numerous homes and offices. Our story is better told by the rugs themselves and the happiness by our clients who over the years have become a loyal fan base. Our production centres stretch for over 1500 KMs starting west of Uttar Pradesh, passing through Bihar, Jharkhand and going all the way to West Bengal. With inputs from over 20000 artisans, RKS holds its position as one of the biggest manufacturers of handmade carpets in India. Our dedication towards quality & passion for designs, was recognised by The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India in 2019 by honouring us with: Silver Trophy in the category of "Handmade Woollen Durries / Druggets / Shaggy" & Bronze Trophy in the category of "Hand-knotted Woollen Carpets including Indo-Nepalese Carpets"
