UYSA is an association geared to the development of young Educated Slum and Street football talent in Uganda. UYSA was established on the 5th of October, 2007 as a soccer academy registered and affiliated to the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) and National Council of Sports (NCS) to provide professional soccer coaching activities in collaboration with parents to talented slum and street boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 17 years. The academy manages about 200 former street and slum children with whom we use football to bring them from the streets in different parts of the country to get an education with a very poor or no family background.
