The Philippine Blockchain Association was formed by a collective of technology and fintech companies in order to facilitate the growth of Blockchain and Decentralized technologies in the Philippines. The organization aims to strengthen the local knowledge and technical capabilities of students, professionals and other institutions in the hopes of cultivating the technology in recipe for local innovation springing up from the grassroot sectors. In the future, the vision of the organization is in the realization of the Philippines becoming a destination for Blockchain in Asia and the Pacific by the following means: 1. Integrating Blockchain education and training in the academe. 2. Exploring Blockchain Use Cases to solve Social and Economic challenges 3. Strengthen the number of Filipinos that are Certified Blockchain Professionals 4. Build special economic zones for Blockchain and emerging technology 5. Showcase Blockchain for the business sector
