FAIRshare Credit Union is a local, not-for-profit, ethical community bank and everyone who lives or works in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin or South Staffordshire is eligible to join FAIRshare. We provide straightforward savings accounts and fair, affordable loans to our members. We are regulated by the Bank of England in a similar way to high street banks and other financial institutions. As soon as an adult opens an account, they become a member and a shareholder. We do not have any other external shareholders. Each year, all members have a say in how FAIRshare Credit Union is run at the AGM.
