Black Mountain Oil and Gas actively acquires oil and gas leases in emerging shale and resource plays. Our business strategy is predicated on being an early entrant into these emerging plays when entry costs are low and significant upside remains. To date, Black Mountain Oil & Gas has leased over 163,000 gross acres in various resource plays across six basins in five states. Black Mountain Oil & Gas has generated over $69 million in gross revenue in the last three years, completing transactions with both private and public companies, including Chesapeake Energy Corporation, EP Energy LLC (formerly El Paso Corporation), Hess Corporation, ZaZa Energy Corporation, GeoSouthern Resources, Forest Oil Corporation, Common Resources II, Joint Resources, and Quicksilver Resources among others.
