Restaurant Vandvid is a restaurant on a houseboat in the South Harbour of Copenhagen. We can seat up to 65-70 guests inside and a further 30-35 on the deck. We welcome you onboard to a simple, but delicious menu made of the freshest organic produce sourced from local providers. Or just to a coffee, a cold organic draft beer or a lovely glass of wine. We can also host your company's event, business dinner, workshop or product launch. In the summertime we will grow some of the fresh herbs and vegetables right on board, and we will have facilities for swimming in the clean water of Copenhagen Harbour. Copenhagen South Harbour is the home of a new neighborhood known as the 'Canal City' of Copenhagen and worth a visit in it's own right. You can get there by jumping on the harbour bus 991 and get off at the final stop at Teglholmen. Buses 14 and 34 also stop right at the doorstep. The name of our restaurant 'Vandvid' translates in two ways: 'WaterWide' and 'Crazy' - because we are 3 slightly crazy and creative souls, who are making this dream come true together!
