Supply Chain & transport increasingly are essential for pan-european and global economy. The Cluster for Logistics Luxembourg community connects logistics companies, service providers, start-ups, research organisations and professionals, who engage in initiatives that strengthen supply chain in and from Luxembourg and international partner activities for an intercontinental logistics hub in Europe. The Cluster's focus is on both logistics companies, industry, commerce AND all shippers making use of logistics services. By bringing together representatives from logistics companies, shippers, public research centers and institutions with government authorities programs, the Cluster aims to strengthen Luxembourg’s position as a reliable fast European logistics hub – especially for niche, high quality or high added-value items. OBJECTIVES: • Increasing the recognition of logistics in Luxembourg • Managing workgroups to improve the competitiveness of the logistics sector • Communicating recommendations to governmental authorities • Organising events to allow networking for the members • Meeting other international logistics organizations to share common experience • Representing the national logistics sector in international organisations • Arranging international matchmakings for Cluster members at conferences and fairs
