Go Green Youth Centre is an organization that works with young people from Thorncliffe and Flemingdon Park, in Toronto, Ontario. It began in 2010 as a grassroots committee of parents, staff and students from Valley Park Middle School and in 2012 became an independent non-for-profit. Its mission is to create an inclusive and welcoming environmentally sustainable multi-sport and recreational facility that stimulates youth to be active, healthy and engaged in one of Toronto’s most diverse Newcomer communities. Today, Go Green offers multi-sports programs, cricket programs, and environmental-educational activities for youth from 6-29 year-old.
