The Association of Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education was launched on Teachers Day on October 5th, 2005, by a Royal initiative by their Majesties King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah, with recognition of the critical role education plays in developing a productive and informed society able to think independently, and the role educators play in instilling the values of excellence and positive thinking in young generations, Registered at the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan, the Association of Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education stands as an independent association overseen by a board of trustees chaired by HM Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The Association operates independently through close collaboration with related public and private sector institutions and independent organizations; It runs under a clear vision calling for new horizons in educational excellence to build future generations.
