The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley, chartered in 1990, meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m at the Greene Turtle Sports Bar & Grille, located at 118 Shawan Road in Hunt Valley MD. Each program generally includes a speaker representing areal associations, businesses, community programs, governments, and nonprofit organizations. Non-member guests are always welcome. The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley actively participates in the Hunt Valley/Northern Baltimore County community, conducting numerous service events throughout the year such as Adopt-a-Road, NCR Trail Clean-up, and Project Warm. For a schedule of activities please visit our website at www.huntvalleyrotary.com or @HuntValleyRotaryClub on Facebook. In addition, through our non-profit 501(c)(3), the James W. Houck Foundation, the Club sponsors the annual Four-Way Test Program in Baltimore county schools. Each year, over 1,000 students from local elementary, middle, and high schools participate in a contest demonstrating the Four-Way Test of the things we think, say, or do: — First: Is it the truth? — Second: Is it fair to all concerned? — Third: Will it build goodwill and better friendships? — Fourth: Will it be beneficial to all concerned? More importantly, our Club is all about FUN! The Rotary Club of Hunt Valley is committed to finding exciting ways for our membership to raise funds and awareness for the many worthy causes that we support locally and globally.
