Speedway Angels- 501c3 (formerly known as Asphalt Angels) main goal is to not only provide a lasting memorable experience to special needs children, but also enlighten and bring awareness to the public of the challenges these children face on a daily basis. With assistance from the professional stock car racing industry and its families, along with many available resources, we will provide an invaluable wealth of knowledge to those families and individuals who have been directly impacted by the many struggles faced daily by children with special needs. Speedway Angels Mission: Our mission is to provide a memorable NASCAR experience to special needs children and their caregivers and to call awareness to the incredible challenges that these families face. With the help of the professional stock car racing industry and coinciding with the NASCAR schedule of races, we plan NASCAR events that welcome the participation of special needs children. We also hold local school assemblies to address the reality of living with a disability and conduct ‘Stop Bullying’ campaigns to reduce the number of bullying incidents that impact special needs children. Vision: We envision that our NASCAR events will not only bring respite and joy to special needs children and their caregivers, but will also become a lifetime memory that they can carry forward with them and draw courage from as they face life’s challenges. In addition, we believe that the messages we deliver at school events will result in an emerging generation that will freely embrace differences and celebrate all levels of abilities.
