BNA
www.bna.nlOur mission is to strengthen architectural firms that add value to client and society on promising markets. The Royal Institute of Dutch Architects focuses on architectural firms, its clients and society as a whole. To engage and utilise collective strength, as well as actively promote the added value of architects are essential instruments. Strengthening architectural firms The architectural industry is characterised by being resilient, even in tough times. The Royal Institute of Dutch Architects stands for the collective strength of the industry and works to strengthen Dutch firms by lobbying, exchanging knowledge, creating good conditions for entrepreneurship and facilitating networks. The BNA is always searching for market opportunities for architectural firms and wants to actively contribute to a healthy business environment. Core tasks are: >> Lobbying. Among others: lobby for a good public procurement culture, honest contracts, and a solid building regulation; >> Support. Among others: collective advantage, BNA International, courses through BNA Academie, and online advice and service; >> Development of the industry: Among others: BNA Onderzoek (research), market research, industry figures, and concrete tools like the BNA Service charts. The added value of architects – especially of a BNA architect – for human and society is consistently brought to light by the BNA. This is done by using (social) media, campaigns and through the selection of BNA Best Building of the Year. We also support young architects through the Next Step Program, the ArchiTenten Challenge and the Professional Experience Programme.
