Marty's Grip & Lighting, Inc. has been a corporation since 1977. Marty is sole owner and maintains the daily operation of providing lighting equipment, generators, camera dollies and grip equipment to numerous local Television stations, cable programs and production companies throughout the United States. He was responsible in 1998 for sending his griptruck on a barge to Cuba for NBC, MSNBC and other affiliates as Lighting Director for Pope John Paul's arrival in Cuba. A much trusted and very professional man that takes great pride in his work. Moreover, Marty can be counted on to be when needed a great "problem solver" on whatever project he has been assigned to. A most talented man who is capable of visualizing the lighting required from beginning to end . A rare gift indeed and extremely helpful to cameraperson and crew members. Known for having the ability to "work ahead" of cameraman when numerous set-ups might be required.
