Keeping the Columbia Gorge wild and beautiful is the core of what we do. Friends of the Columbia Gorge is the only conservation organization dedicated solely to protecting and preserving the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Area. For almost 40 years we have used a combination of old-fashioned grassroots advocacy, strategic land purchases, and cutting-edge public education tools to protect the scenic, natural, cultural, and recreational resources of the Gorge.
