Central Electric Cooperative is a not-for-profit, member-owner cooperative providing electric power to over 4,800 homes, farms, and businesses in South Dakota. Central Electric's service territory includes Aurora, Brule, Buffalo, Davison, Hanson, Jerauld, Miner, and Sanborn counties. In addition to electricity, Central Electric provides services including electrical wiring, heating and cooling sales and service, and appliance sales and service. As a Touchstone Energy Cooperative, Central Electric is committed to our communities through youth outreach, the Operation Round-Up grant program, scholarships, Youth Tour, and more.
