Occupational Therapy service for pregnancy and parenting: 1) We treat hand, wrist & arm conditions & injuries in parents & child care providers. Custom splinting & home programs are provided & we find the cause of the problem & make specific recommendations catering to each individual & their circumstances. 2) We assess your roles, baby care equipment and environments & make recommendations to prevent injuries. 3) We provide services for pregnancy including pregnancy massage, postural corrections, recommendations for workplace set-up during pregnancy. 4) We provide services for the postnatal stage including injury prevention, home assessment for parenting role, & breastfeeding support.
