About Us? Well actually there is no us, there is only me, myself and I. Rather than trying to create the illusion of being more than I am – I want to clarify that HR Hero for Hire is yours truly. This enables me to be agile and tailor my services according to your needs as the sole decision maker and allows me to work at a scale that avoids excessive overheads making me able to offer a competitive but professional service. I am an accomplished award winning HR professional having led an award winning global team in the UK, Asia, Africa and the Middle East working in a multi-faith, multi ethnic and multicultural environment. With over 20 years’ experience in the not for profit sector, I have been part of various senior management teams leading on strategic direction, organisational development and change management in multiple organisations having sat on various boards and committees most notably as a board director of one of the largest relief and development charities in the world working in over 40 countries. I currently sit on the CIPD board of Trustees as the Honorary Treasurer which includes responsibility for the Audit Committee and the Remuneration Committee. I am also a member of the Regional Leadership Team of Mosaic, part of the Prince’s Trust where I am passionate about raising the aspirations and self esteem of young people in deprived communities.
