[click to read in english] Samuel Roche est une entreprise familiale fondée en 1910 par Monsieur Samuel Roche à Saint-Etienne. A l'origine fabricant de rubans de soie, Samuel Roche a progressivement orienté le développement de sa production vers les sangles techniques. La société commence à se diversifier en 1969 avec la fabrication de ceintures de sécurité. Après son rachat par des cadres en 2011, la société se développe à l’international et ouvre, en 2011 et 2012, deux unités de production en Tunisie, l’une consacrée aux élingues, l’autre aux tresses élastiques type Sandow. Sangles d’arrimage ou de levage, harnais, élingues, ceintures automobiles, sangles non-feu, de voilerie ou aéronautique… Samuel Roche est aujourd’hui reconnu comme un expert européen majeur des sangles techniques destinées à l'industrie, au transport et aux loisirs. L’entreprise emploie 48 personnes et exporte ses références dans plus de 20 pays. Samuel Roche is a family business rested in 19010 by Mister Samuel ROCHE in SAINT ETIENNE. At the origin, manufacturer of silk ribbons, Samuel Roche gradually directed the development of his production towards the technical straps. In 1969, besides the industrial straps, Samuel Roche starts to manufacture seat belts straps (spun dyed and thermofixed). In 2011, after being directed during 3 generations by Samuel Roche family, the company is directed by an executive board. It is a new departure with developments turned more and more towards the international one. In 2011 and 2012, 2 productions units are opened in Tunisia, one for weaving, dying and single use slings and the second one for elastic braids manufacturing. Samuel Roche is well known as a leader on the European market for technical webbings (for industry, security, transport, leisure…). The company employs nearly 50 persons and exports its knowhow in more than 20 countries, all around the world.
