IrSOLaV, S.L. is a spin-off from CIEMAT with the stockholding Parque Científico de Madrid. Between its main objectives are: research, developing, marketing, auditing, assessment and consulting about different aspects related to renewable energies. It is made by a team of researcher with a broad experience and numerous participations in national and international projects. The activity of IrSOLaV is based on research, consulting, promotion, advising and formation, related with the estimation and solar resource study in potential places to make use of solar energy. Solar energy analysis in a potential place is based on the knowledge, estimation and extrapolation of solar irradiance on ground surface with the highest spatial and temporal resolution possible. This information is essential when planning an installation to make use of solar energy with commercial or environmental purposes.
