Canamens is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company established in 2007. We are private equity funded by Sector Asset Management and Goldman Sachs. The Chief Executive Officer and management team report to a board of directors which brings a combination of oil industry experience and financial rigour. At the heart of our business model is the identification, acquisition and development of under-exploited upstream oil and gas assets within a focused geographical area. This portfolio is growing through accessing new acreage, asset acquisitions, field developments with related exploration and corporate acquisitions which complement the portfolio. We will deliver this via our highly experienced management team - our company founders alone hold more than 120 years of international industry experience. The core business and technical team will be supported by selected third party services and the effective use of local partnerships and resources. In the future, we will seek project specific equity & debt financing, including non-recourse debt for investment projects and establishing long term funding alliances with 4-6 banks. We will consider separate project specific equity finance if appropriate.
