Natur-Tyme
www.natur-tyme.comNatur-Tyme is much more than your average health food store, carrying more than 10,000 grocery products (including over 1,000 gluten-free products), over 220 brands of supplements, a wide array of health and beauty products, an amazing bulk section, an art gallery, a salon, a café, and much more. Wendy Meyerson is the owner of Natur-Tyme, carrying on the legacy of her father Stan Meyerson’s commitment to health and wellness. Stan Meyerson was an integrative pharmacist; at a time when it was almost unheard of to mix traditional medicine and supplementary aid: Stan sought to inform his customers of the benefits of incorporating both. Natur-Tyme began as a small health food store on Charles Ave. on the west side of Syracuse. Wendy purchased the store from her father in 2001. In 2002, Wendy relocated Natur-Tyme to Bridge Street in East Syracuse nearly doubling its retail space. Recently, after three years of planning and renovation, Natur-Tyme relocated in 2012 to a significantly larger retail space (15,000 square-feet) in Empire Plaza on Erie Boulevard East. For 16 years, Natur-Tyme has hosted an annual spring health fair at the New York State Fairgrounds with nationally-renowned speakers and dozens of vendors—a full day of education and empowerment. Every month, Natur-Tyme hosts several workshops in our on-site community room. All of these events go towards supporting the Natur-Tyme mission which is “Creating a Healthier Community, Starting with You!”
